West Kazakhstan Region with administrative center in Oral is located in the north-west of Kazakhstan. The Region was founded in 1868 and now it is containing 12 regions.
There are 3 state reserves in West Kazakhstan Region: Baudaryn, Kyrsanov and Zhaltyrkul. Agriculture, sheep and horse breeding, mechanical engineering, food industry, oil and gas production are well developed here.
