About Kazakhstan Visa
Rules of obtaining visa to enter the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Foreign citizens need to obtain a visa in order to enter to the Republic of Kazakhstan or cross the territory of the Kazakhstan by transit.
Approved Kazakhstan visa is glued to the passport of entering person.
According to standard rules of Kazakhstan visa obtaining, inviting side must apply to local migration police services as well as to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan with visa support request and get their permit.
After getting permit from official bodies for Kazakhstan visa, foreign citizen must apply to a diplomatic consular institution of the Kazakhstan in the country of residence following documents:
1. valid passport (or international travel document). Validity of passport should not expire earlier than six months after expiration of the validity term of the requested visa
2. copy of invitation letter with a notification of a number of visa support of the Diplomatic Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kazakhstan (or original individual invitation issued and processed by the Police)filled visa application
3. photo
4. consular fee payable on collecting visa
Kazakhstan consul may request other documents provision at the place of Kazakhstan visa obtaining.
Usually Kazakhstan visa is processed and issued within 7 calendar days from the day of all above documents submission.
Letter of invitation for Kazakhstan visa IS NOT required for citizens of following countries:
